Phoenix, Arizona – After more than seven years of outstanding service with the Arizona Council on Economic Education (ACEE), Jen Mozilo is leaving her role as Director of Operations later this month to spend more time with her family but she will remain on the ACEE advisory board. Jen has been instrumental in the growth of ACEE over the past years. There isn’t one ACEE milestone that Jen hasn’t touched and made an impact. She has been a focal point with the community, teachers, and donors.
Stepping into the new Director of Operations role is former ACEE board member Monica Martinez. Monica was the first Latina Governing Board President of the Peoria Unified School District, the 2nd largest school district in Arizona. Monica holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from Arizona State University and a M.B.A. from Grand Canyon University. She earned her Certificate in Education Finance from Georgetown University with a focus on strategic fiscal management, finance policy analysis, and financial leadership.
Monica is one of the most passionate leaders, continually advocating for financial literacy, diversity, and inclusion. In her most recent role at Vanguard, Monica specialized in Institutional Investments and retirement education. You will often hear Monica speak about her two sons and their love for welding and athletics.
