For Students
I have observed students choosing to collaborate together more than when we use our typical math curriculum. The Money Minutes layout sparks an interest in my students and they get excited to see what the prompt of the slide will be and how they will get to discuss together to solve what is being asked.
It helps to solidify the concepts taught in Financial Algebra. The students find money minutes relevant to their lives.
Since we started later in the year, we have finished through the First Grade Money Minute questions and every student has shared it is their “favorite part” of our school day.
It has blown me away how incorporating Money Minutes has led to this growing interest in each of my students!
Wonderful resources and expert knowledge of the content. The presenter clearly understands the value of time for educators and creates a productive and positive time for all educators.
Volunteering at the Financial Literacy Family Night was an incredibly rewarding experience. My coworkers and I enjoyed working with the students and their parents. We can’t wait to volunteer again!
