Honoring Julie Jakubek: A Legacy of Leadership and Service in Financial Education

We are incredibly grateful for Julie Jakubek’s unwavering dedication and service to the Arizona Council on Economic Education. Since 2010, Julie has been a driving force in promoting financial literacy among Arizona students. As she wraps up her tenure as Board Chair, we reflect on her many contributions—educating students on the financial impact of insurance, serving as a judge, recruiting volunteers, securing funding, and leading program initiatives.

Julie’s passion for community service extends beyond ACEE, and it is no surprise that she was recently honored as Business Woman of the Year by Women of Scottsdale and Advisor of the Year for the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors of Arizona. Yet, her greatest reward is being a role model for her high school children, showing them the power of leadership, service, and dedication.

Julie, thank you for your commitment to financial education and for making a lasting impact on students, volunteers, and the community. Your leadership and passion will continue to inspire us all!
