Adriana began her career in 2004 as a teller for Wells Fargo in Yuma, Arizona. She held various positions within the branch before transitioning into Operations in 2008. She has worked as a Research Processor, an Operations Accountant within General Ledger Recon and Control, and as an Operations Analyst before transitioning into her current role as a Business Execution Consultant within CSBBO Banking Operations. Her responsibilities include project management as well as supporting strategic and productivity efficiencies for Print Services.
Adriana’s leadership and financial expertise have led her to be involved in many activities within Wells Fargo. She is engaged with many local Employee Resource Network (ERN) teams as well as the local Employee Impact Team and is currently the Vice President of Operations for the Hispanic & Latino Connection ERN enterprise leadership team.
Additionally, Adriana is actively involved in the community as an avid volunteer. Her passion lies in helping underserved youth succeed as well as empowering young Latinas in our communities. She has volunteered with many organizations and is on the board of directors for a couple of nonprofit organizations. She also serves as a mentor to two high school students.
In 2012, Adriana received a Wells Fargo Diversity & Inclusion Champion award and was nominated again in 2017. She was also a recipient of Univision Arizona’s 40 Hispanic Leaders Under 40 Award in 2013. Adriana was nominated for the Phoenix Business Journal’s 10 Most Influential Millennials award in 2015 for her engagement within the community and was awarded the Valle del Sol’s Project Impact award in 2017 for her work with S.E.E.D., a retreat for a unification program between youth and their incarcerated parent(s). In 2023, Adriana was selected as a recipient of the Raising Star Award by the Association of Latino Professionals for America.
A daughter of Mexican migrant workers, Adriana is the first in her family to attend college, receiving a B.S. degree in Microbiology from Northern Arizona University and is a Valle del Sol’s Hispanic Leadership Institute alum. She is pursuing a master’s degree at Arizona State University and currently resides in Avondale, Arizona, with her partner, two teenagers and a dog.
