Manoj Varghese is the Head of Technology at Stax Payments, where he leads efforts to drive innovation and reliability across the company’s technical infrastructure. Before joining Stax, Manoj was the Head of Infrastructure and Site Reliability Engineering at Venmo/PayPal, where he played a key role in enhancing the company’s cloud operations and reliability strategies.
Manoj’s journey includes significant leadership roles at major organizations. He joined PayPal in 2020 after serving as VP, Head of Cloud Engineering and Operations at Wells Fargo. During his tenure there, he spearheaded a transformation strategy to modernize the technology stack, delivering faster and more reliable cloud services. Prior to Wells Fargo, Manoj spent over 18 years at Intel, where he held various leadership positions, focusing on providing a seamless, cutting-edge, and financially responsible multi-cloud experience.
With a strong background in leadership, technology, and project management, Manoj combines his expertise with a passion for helping people become more financially literate. He is committed to making a difference through ACEE’s mission.
Manoj holds an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA and a B.S.E in Computer Engineering from the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering at Arizona State University.
