Maria Fisher is an accomplished working executive in the financial service industry since 1999. In her 20+ year financial services career, Maria has practiced a servant leadership style that has enables her to build trust and engagement with her peers, clients, and the teams she leads. Maria’s area of expertise are in workplace retirement plans, multiple employer arrangements and retail wealth solutions.
Maria currently serves as the Vice President of Distribution Excellence & Training at Voya Financial. She leads a team that creates, designs and oversees Voya’s sales and client engagement training within Voya’s Workplace Solutions division. Prior to this role, Maria was the National Sales Director for the ABA Retirement Funds Program – an $8B multiple employer arrangement that offers retirement plans exclusively to law firms.
In addition to Voya Financial, Maria has been employed by other Fortune 500 companies including Fidelity Investments and Putnam Investments. She has also served as Voya’s Women’s Council Chair from 2020 to 2023.
Maria graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Leadership from Northeastern University (Boston, MA) and holds her FINRA 6, 7, 24 and 63 registrations. She was born and lived in the greater Boston area until 2022, when she, her husband and two daughters moved to Phoenix, AZ.
