Susan Lee currently serves as the Assistant Treasurer at Pinnacle West Capital Corporation and Arizona Public Service Company. She has responsibility for the company’s external debt and equity financing, banking and rating agency relationships, cash management and liquidity forecasting, and credit risk management. As importantly, Susan supports the company’s efforts to enhance the financial acumen of the broader enterprise, and to continue to cultivate and empower her teams.
Susan has extensive experience in utility finance and on Wall Street, and also brings additional perspectives from a diversity of industries and work overseas in Asia Pacific markets. Prior to the current role, Susan was the Associate Vice President of Capital Markets and Investor Relations at food service company Aramark in Philadelphia. Prior to Aramark, she was Treasury Manager at water utility American Water Works, where she supported the national growth of their business over nine years at the company.
Susan is an engineer by background, with a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a M.S. in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She also received an M.B.A. degree from the University of Chicago.
Susan currently resides in Tucson with her husband, and has three grown children. Susan is an avid tennis player and competes in USTA tournaments.
