Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and The Lorax are all popular books that have been turned into movies. This session, designed for classroom teachers and resource specialists, features titles that can be used to teach in the content areas, enrich learning, and promote creative problem solving. Using the provided lessons and activities, students will learn about choices, goods and services, entrepreneurship, market systems, scarcity, and more. All participants will receive classroom-ready lessons and resources upon attendance.
Participants will be eligible for 1 hour of professional development credit.
