ACEE and Econiful have partnered to invite Victoria Roderick and Ryan Farrell, economists with the Bureau of Labor Statistics Division of Employment Projections, to present information on the employment projections process and The Occupational Outlook Handbook. The employment projections program produces employment projections for approximately 300 detailed industries and 800 detailed occupations. National employment projections are developed annually, and the most recent release covers the 2022-2032 decade. The Occupational Outlook Handbook (OOH) provides information on what workers do; the work environment; education, training, and other qualifications; pay; the job outlook; information on state and area data; similar occupations; and sources of additional information for more than 300 occupational profiles covering about 4 out of 5 jobs in the economy.
Participants will be eligible for 1.5 hours of professional development credit.
Due to the interactive nature of the presentation, all participants will be required to have reliable internet access and a device with video and audio capabilities.
