Having students work in teams and compete to complete challenges is one way to keep students engaged throughout the class period. In this session, participants will brainstorm learning activities that can be turned into a “Great Race” competition. Then they will participate in a simulated Great Race activity that will build confidence in creating similar challenges in their classrooms.
Participants will be eligible for 1 hour of professional development credit.
All participants will be required to have reliable internet access and a device with video and audio capabilities.
