This virtual professional development workshop is designed for new and experienced high school teachers who are looking for innovative and interactive lessons that will support integrating economics and financial literacy content into their instruction. Participants will preview resources and take part in lesson activities that are aligned to the Arizona academic standards. Participation in this workshop will provide teachers free access to several ACEE resources including the ACEE High School Economics Curriculum and Money Minutes. Virtual Workshop Schedule:
Tuesday, July 9th from 9am – 12pm
Wednesday, July 10th from 9am – 12pm
Thursday, July 11th from 9am – 12pm
Due to the interactive nature of the presentation, all participants will be required to have reliable internet access and a device with video and audio capabilities.
Teachers will be eligible for 9 professional development hours.
Please note that due to the shortened time commitment and virtual setting, this workshop will not convey to college credit through the CTE department at the AZ Department of Education as it has in the past.
