This workshop is designed for AP Economics teachers seeking effective strategies to prepare their students for the AP Macroeconomics and AP Microeconomics exams. Educators will engage in hands-on activities that reinforce key concepts, improve student performance on multiple-choice and free-response questions, and integrate College Board-aligned test-taking strategies into their instruction.
Participants will explore best practices for teaching graphing techniques, data analysis, and economic reasoning while also learning how to structure engaging and efficient review sessions. The workshop will provide resources, lesson ideas, and assessment tools to help students maximize their scores and approach the exam with confidence.
All attendees will receive:
- Practice Questions & FRQs for classroom use
- Strategies for Teaching Exam Skills, including time management and common student pitfalls
- A Quick-Reference Formula & Graphing Sheet for students
- Ready-to-Use Review Activities to reinforce economic reasoning and application
Participants will be eligible for 1 hour of professional development credit.
Due to the interactive nature of the presentation, all participants will be required to have reliable internet access and a device with video and audio capabilities.
