Whether you’re new to Money Minutes or need a refresher, join us to explore the ACEE Money Minutes resource which links the math skills your students are learning to financial decision-making in areas such as earning, spending, investing, and entrepreneurship. This workshop will include ideas for implementing Money Minutes in the classroom or a club.
Money Minutes problems focus on real-world financial decisions where students apply math and economic thinking to solve problems and plan for future decisions. Each problem is linked directly to an Arizona math standard making this a great tool for teachers wishing to support math-skill development in students K-12. Money Minutes can also be used to fulfill the Seal of Personal Finance for graduation.
Participants will be eligible for 1 hour of professional development credit.
All participants will be required to have reliable internet access and a device with video and audio capabilities.
