Keriann serves as Vice President and General Counsel at Desert Financial Credit Union, where she leads the enterprise’s legal, regulatory and governance strategy. In this role, she advises executive leadership, oversees compliance frameworks, and safeguards member trust at Arizona’s largest credit union, Desert Financial.
With over two decades of experience in financial services, Keriann brings deep expertise in consumer protection, complex regulatory compliance, and responsible data and information governance. She also partners with risk leaders on growth-readiness initiatives, aligning governance, risk, and compliance maturity with scalable member-facing innovations.
Beyond counsel, Keriann is deeply committed to economic empowerment and financial literacy for youth. At Desert Financial, Keriann’s leadership advances the credit union’s broader commitment to financial well-being across Arizona, aligning with ACEE’s mission to “reach and teach every Arizona student to become financially and economically responsible in work and life.” Keriann’s prior experience volunteering in Arizona schools and a recent opportunity to participate in ACEE’s EconReads program has reinforced for her the value and significance of early education in economics.
