Designed by Arizona math teachers, Money Minutes helps students strengthen their math skills while making meaningful connections to personal finance. These short, ready-to-use exercises show how money can be used to teach math in ways that matter to students and their families.









How to Use Money Minutes
Money Minutes are flexible and easy to fit into your schedule. Use them as bellwork, warm-ups, reviews, practice activities, or in stations. Each exercise is directly tied to Arizona math standards for grades K–8, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry. Discussion questions and extension activities are included to encourage deeper understanding and classroom conversation.

Focus on Financial Literacy
Every Money Minutes activity uses realistic problems related to earning, saving, spending, and decision-making. This program is a supplemental resource based on Arizona state academic standards for Arizona teachers.
Money Minutes has been approved by the Arizona Department of Education to meet part of the requirements for high school students to earn the Seal of Personal Finance on their diploma.
