Summer Faussette has over 20 years’ experience in the banking and mortgage industry. Prior to creating FEED (Faussette Empowerment & Economic Development) with her sibling’s, Summer was the National Director of African American Business Development with Comerica Bank. Her responsibility included overseeing Comerica Bank’s Financial Education, Small Business Literacy, Concepts of Building Wealth, and Community Involvement Programs for the state of Arizona. This included all regulatory purposes of the Community Reinvestment ACT (CRA) and documentation of all CRA Volunteerism, Civic and Government Partners, internal and external strategic planning, alliances and contributions. She managed Arizona’s portion of a multimillion-dollar budget and corporate foundations; while developing African American Businesses across the banks footprint.
Summer is actively involved in the Phoenix community, including sitting as Board Chair for Pacific SW Minority Supplier Development Council, Board of Directors for Arizona Council on Economic Education and Board of Directors with Greater Phoenix Urban League.
