Vincent Cimino is a Managing Director with RBC Capital Markets, LLC, where he leads the education finance and utility rate payer securitization teams which consistently rank at the top of the US ABS league tables. With over 35 years of experience in investment banking, he has developed comprehensive financing solutions for non-profits, state agencies, and finance companies across the country. Before joining RBC, he was part of Citigroup’s student loan group and began his career as an aerospace engineer at Grumman Aerospace.
Vinny has held leadership positions on several boards, including serving as Treasurer (2017–2018) of the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation—only the second individual in the Foundation’s history who was neither an astronaut nor an astronaut scholar to be elected to its Board. Additionally, he has served on the Phoenix ToolBanks’ Board of Directors (2024) and has volunteered with Junior Achievement. He currently serves on the Arizona Council on Economic Education’s Advisory Board.
He is a registered securities representative and currently holds Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from St. Louis University and a Masters of Science in Computer Science from the New York Institute of Technology.
