Chris Cannon has been involved in public education since 2002, teaching economics at multiple high schools in Georgia before serving as a Social Studies Program Specialist with the Georgia Department of Education. After time as a Teacher in Residence, he joined the Georgia Council on Economic Education (GCEE), where he now serves as Associate Director. In this role, he leads professional development and designs classroom-ready lessons for K–12 teachers. His award-winning work spans topics such as cryptocurrency, problem gambling, and hands-on economics, and he has contributed to widely used online resources including Econ Express and Lights Camera Budget!.
