Help your high school students turn their talents and passions into entrepreneurial ventures with the Building Young Entrepreneurs (BYE) curriculum. This session will explore key concepts such as idea generation, market research, funding, and pitching to investors. BYE can support existing entrepreneurship lessons or serve as self-paced modules for students, helping them prepare for CTSO events related to business creation. Participants will engage in hands-on activities, simulating real-world tasks like brainstorming innovations, analyzing market data, and calculating break-even points. Each activity emphasizes collaboration, decision-making, and communication skills, essential for entrepreneurial success, and participants will gain access to free BYE resources.
Participants will be eligible for 1 hour of professional development credit.
All participants will be required to have reliable internet access and a device with video and audio capabilities.
