Grade Level: 9-12

Economic forces shape every aspect of our lives and understanding them is essential for making informed decisions. This workshop is designed to empower educators to think like economists and, in turn, teach their students to do the same.

During the workshop, educators will engage with hands-on lessons and activities that demonstrate the “economic way of thinking.” These tools will help students experience firsthand how economic reasoning transforms abstract concepts into skills that are vital for making more meaningful and productive decisions in everyday life.

Participants will leave the session equipped with a wealth of resources, strategies, and confidence to guide their students in analyzing real-world problems with the analytical mindset of an economist. Don’t miss this opportunity to inspire your students and elevate your teaching approach.

All attendees will receive:

  • Engaging lessons and activities that can be directly implemented in the classroom to teach economic reasoning.
  • Effective methods for making economic principles relatable and applicable to students’ daily lives, fostering critical thinking skills.

Participants will be eligible for 1 hour of professional development credit.

All participants will be required to have reliable internet access and a device with video and audio capabilities.

You have to be an ACEE member to sign up for a program. Membership is free.
