This workshop is designed for middle and high school educators to explore the intricate economics that influence and define U.S. electoral processes. By focusing on topics like national debt, social security, and the economic stewardship of different presidencies, this professional development session aims to provide educators with a deeper understanding of how economic policies are central to both governance and electoral outcomes. Enhance your curriculum as you learn to navigate through the complexities of evaluating the economic impact of public policy, the incentives that drive candidates to cater to the influence of specific groups or interests, and the inherent challenges within democratic systems.
